Keane- This article gives new details about Damian Lewis’s upcoming film The Situation (spoiler warnings!)
- In this Guardian interview Damian Lewis discusses his role as William Keane saying “It’s a knockout role for an actor in terms of achieving a credibility in a character who spends 90 minutes in an extreme emotional state…It’s a huge responsibility. It’s not something you can dare to get wrong.” (He certainly didn’t get it wrong!) Keane opens in the UK on September 22nd.

- A message received today from Damian Lewis (via his lovely associate Melissa) indicates that he still plans to participate in the Beat Goes On activities on the 14th (unless his impending fatherhood causes a change in schedule!) Also, plans for his appearance onstage in John Patrick Shanley’s hit play Doubt have not yet been finalized, but if it does happen then the production will run in London from November through February.
- According to the Toronto International Film Festival schedule Alex Rider Operation Stormbreaker featuring Damian Lewis will screen on September 10th and 12th. Author Anthony Horowitz and the film’s young star Alex Pettyfer are expected to attend.

- Damian Lewis and his Team Europe mates retained their title with a resounding victory today at the Northern Rock All Star Cup golf tournament! Kaz was the first to report the news, including the information that Damian did the Funky Chicken on one of the greens! He is shown here with Jodie Kidd and Chris Evans. - Team Europe has a significant lead over the American team on day one of the Northern Rock All Star Cup golf tournament primarily thanks to the great game played by partners Damian Lewis and Ronan Keating! Kaz heard a snippet of news about Damian entertaining his golfing companions on the piano in the bar until 2:00 AM last night! New photos of the event can be viewed at the Warehouse gallery.
