  • The Baker will be screened by their distributor Bankside Films on February 9 and 14 at the Berlin International Film Festival as part of the European Film Market. The Situation, also being distributed by the same company, will screen there on the 13th. The Berlin fest schedule should be made available online in February. (Many thanks to Ann!)
  • Someone was asking at DLYG about whether Brides is available in the US? Unfortunately, no - the DVD is only available outside the US and you’ll need a multi-region or region-free DVD player to play it. You’ll find more information about what’s available where and multi-region DVD players in the FAQ page located under Shop.

  • Happy Birthday to Mr. Gareth Lewis! Damian’s brother and business partner turned 34 today.
  • The Australian World Movies Channel will begin broadcasting Keane starring Damian Lewis on February 13th. (Thanks to Jen for alerting us to this broadcast!)
  • Brides will screen in Prague next week as part of the 14th European Film Festival (PDF file, page 30.) Click here for the Brides page. Members of the public can attend the screenings - Katerina has already ordered her tickets!
  • The California Film Institute will host an advance screening of The Situation on February 18th in San Rafael, CA. Sean Penn will host the event that will include a Question and Answer session with director Philip Haas and Damian’s co-star Connie Nielsen.
  • Connie Nielsen will make a guest appearance on the Tavis Smiley Show on January 30th to promote The Situation - check your local PBS schedule for the listing.
  • The Australian region 4 Stormbreaker DVD has now been released.

  • US members - keep checking your local PBS station’s schedule! The Best of Masterpiece Theatre featuring Damian Lewis will air on WBGH in Boston this Sunday January 28th (officially the program is scheduled to premiere on March 4th.)
  • Spoilers! This Telegraph article about Confessions of a Diary Secretary says that the show (which features Damian Lewis as Tony Blair) will be televised on February 28th on the UK’s ITV1 channel.
  • According to Shadow Distribution Connie Nielsen’s Monday, January 29th appearance on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson on CBS is to promote The Situation co-starring Damian Lewis. Other promotions are scheduled so watch the television schedules, newspapers, and magazines for news!
