Keane- Damian Lewis was spotted in the audience of American Idol in Los Angeles last night! This week’s theme is British Invasion Week and many celebrities and film industry professionals from the UK attended the program.
- The IMDb production status for Life (the pilot for a new NBC serial drama starring Damian Lewis) has been updated to “post-production” suggesting that the principal filming has concluded.
- A message posted on IMDb by an Australian fan confirms that the Region 4 Keane DVD was released on March 14th as scheduled, although some online vendors indicate that the film is “out of stock”.
Also, the April issue of FilmInk includes an article about Keane and director Lodge Kerrigan (page 66) as well as a review of the film (page 74).

- The Situation starring Damian Lewis will screen at the 14th International Film Festival Febiofest 2007 in Prague on March 24th and 26th.
- A new page for The Best of Masterpiece Theatre’s 35th anniversary show has been posted on IMDb. The program is airing on US PBS stations this month and features clips and interviews of Damian Lewis who was selected by viewers as one of the Best Leading Men in a Period Drama for his portrayal of Soames Forsyte in the The Forsyte Saga.

According to IMDb Chromophobia starring Damian Lewis is scheduled for theatrical release in Spain today, March 16th, but several Spanish film sites indicate that the film will not open in Spain until May 18th.

- Special screening of The Situation starring Damian Lewis in Carlisle, Pennsylvania on March 24th. The Clarke Forum for Contemporary Issues at Dickinson College and the Carlisle Theatre are co-sponsoring the event.
The screening will include a panel discussion with director Philip Haas, Maj. Gen. Robert Scales, former commandant of the U.S. Army War College, and Col. Lawrence B. Wilkerson, former chief of staff under former Secretary of State Colin Powell — and Steven Clemons, director of the American Strategy Program at the New America Foundation.
