Messages were received today from Damian Lewis’s associate Melissa and from his Picture Farm partner, producer Adrian Sturges with lots of information!
» Melissa did forward Fathers Day greetings, on behalf of the members of the Damian Lewis Yahoo! Group, to father and father-to-be Damian Lewis.
» Damian will not be appearing in Love and Virtue after all!
» Damian and Helen are currently in South Africa where Helen is filming Flashbacks of a Fool with Daniel Craig. They will return to the UK before heading to Los Angeles to shoot the first season of Life.
» Chromophobia is expected to be released in the UK in the fall.
» The Baker has not yet finalized a distribution agreement.
» Damian will not attend the premiere of The Baker at the Tremblant Film Festival in Canada but information about additional screenings and festivals will follow soon.
» Update on The Escapist from Adrian Sturges:
“We are nearly finished editing The Escapist and I’m really excited by the film and Damian is great in it. We’re moving on to the sound and music shortly and hope to be finished in September. The film has distribution in the UK already – Vertigo Films – and a sales agent. We showed a promo to buyers in Cannes and the response was really good.” - The Daily Mirror says that Damian Lewis is one of the celebrities who has worked with fashion stylist Gok Wan.

- According to the Montreal Gazette Daniaile Jarry (the program director for the Tremblant Film Festival) is “nuts about Gareth Lewis’s Welsh-British comedy The Baker” which screens at the festival on June 21st and 23rd.

- A report from C21 Media reveals that the Hungarian TV2 network is interested in acquiring Life starring Damian Lewis for their new season. The network is targeting women viewers and according to programme acquisition manager, Bianca Balázs, “Life also has potential. Maybe it will be the new House or Monk.”
Life will air on NBC in the US and Damian Lewis fans outside the US are encouraged to contact their local TV networks to request the program.
