- The Baker has a UK distributor!
According to information posted on the Rod Hall Agency site, Gareth Lewis’s film The Baker will be distributed in the UK by 2Entertain. Damian Lewis stars in the film and also produces it with Adrian Sturges for Picture Farm in conjunction with Grandville Pictures; the sales rights are held by Bankside Films.
- Damian Lewis’s video message in support of the Friends of the Earth’s “The Big Ask” campaign for stronger climate control laws can now be viewed on YouTube.
- Click here and here for information about author Charles Cumming, a long-time friend of Damian Lewis. Three of Cumming’s espionage novels are currently available in the UK including The Spanish Game which is one of Damian’s favorites. According to the author’s website the film rights have already been sold for his first book A Spy By Nature which was recently released in the US. (Perhaps someday Damian will star in a series of films about spy Alec Milius; keep your fingers crossed!)
- Congratulations to Connie, a long-time member of the Damian Lewis Yahoo! Group, she and husband Bob are celebrating their 46th Wedding Anniversary today.
