  • Damian Lewis, Ewan McGregor, Orlando Bloom, and other alumni and students of the Guildhall School of Music & Drama joined together to honor actor and drama teacher Ken Rea for his thirty years as a member of the faculty…

For Damian Lewis the word “generosity” sums up Ken, “In his teaching and in his insisting that actors should first and foremost be generous on stage: it wafted around sweaty rehearsal rooms like a soothing balm.”

(Ken Rea sounds like a remarkable man and individuals appreciative of Damian Lewis’s excellent acting technique and skill also send thanks and congratulations to him.)

» Mickey O’Connor, Sr. Editor for TV Guide had this to say about season 2 of Life:

“A lot of fans scratched their heads when Crews (Damian Lewis) tracked down the real murderer in the season finale. Where do you go from there? I’m told that Season 2, which bows on Sept. 29, makes it clear that the murderer was just a hired hand. The real forces of evil have yet to be revealed. Also, count on getting four new episodes in Life’s first two weeks back, as NBC doubles-up with airings Monday and Friday at 10 pm/ET.”
