Thanks to lulubellnyc for sharing her great scans of the May 2008 Empire feature for The Escapist starring Damian Lewis.

In a new interview Escapist co-star Dominic Cooper reveals that he is very proud of the film. “It was shot in 26 days,” he says. “So rushed and so brilliant.”

The NBC/Universal site has posted a new thumbnail photo of Damian Lewis as Charlie Crews in “Everything…All the Time” episode 2.02 of Life.

Note: the NBC/U site still shows Life as broadcasting on Wednesday nights but it will move to Friday when season 2 premieres on October 3rd.

Season 2 of Life will also debut on October 3rd for Canadian Global TV viewers.

Australia’s Network Ten has announced that they will “…premiere the new seasons of Life, NCIS and House concurrently with their US broadcasts.”

» Information posted on a Variety blog site indicates that the Television Critics Association’s “Summer Press Tour” will spotlight NBC shows on July 20th and 21st; hopefully the NBC program will feature Life and Damian Lewis.

» Adweek reports that MasterCard advertisements offering conspiracy wall clues caught the attention of Life viewers:

“…Not every new technique has worked as planned. One early NBC trial involved posing trivia questions leading out of the comedy Scrubs. Viewers had to watch the commercial pod in order to learn the answer. Retention levels weren’t raised, the network discovered. But a MasterCard spot in the mystery drama series Life, which offered new clues related to the content in the program, had a positive effect on DVR viewing: 25 percent of those watching in playback mode stopped skipping through ads to watch the MasterCard commercial, according to the network’s research…”

» Spanish television network Telecinco is airing Life on Monday nights at 23.15. The Telicinco trailer for Life is now available on YouTube.

The region 1 DVD for season 1 of Life starring Damian Lewis is now available for pre-order for $19.98 US from the NBC Universal Store.

New “exclusives” have been added to the Life site at NBC.com including Fan Conspiracy Theories and a Fan Conspiracy Gallery.

Thanks to Linda for the news that Dag Allemaal (a magazine available in Belgium and The Netherlands) is offering the current issue with the DVD for An Unfinished Life at the incredibly cheap price of 5 euros! What a bargain!

The region 4 DVD of Brides starring Damian Lewis will be re-released in Australia on July 23rd and is now available for pre-order.

Ann reported that Stormbreaker with Damian will be screened on August 29th Under the Stars on the Isle of Man where the movie was partially filmed. Click here for more information.
