  • ITV3 has finally updated their Life page. Check it out! Keep an eye out for promos on the ITV channels – Dotty reports there was a new trailer on ITV1 tonight.


  • Click here at the gallery for screencaps for Life episode 2.05 “Crushed”. Thanks again to dj of Capslock! This episode is now available for free, online viewing at Hulu.com and at NBC.com. It can also be downloaded at amazon.com for $1.99 an at iTunes for $2.99.

    On-demand cablevision subscribers can watch the episode for $0.99. If you get Comcast On Demand you will find it under TV Entertainment and NBC.

  • Remember if you missed Friday’s episode “Crushed”, you should be able to view it online for free by Saturday at Hulu.com and at NBC.com!

  • An update on the Oct 30th UK premiere of Life: ITV3 will run the first two episodes of Life – Merit Badge and Tear Asunder – back to back! :) Thanks to Ann for the links! According to the Guardian article here, ITV3 will give Life a “groundbreaking ad push” and “launch its biggest ever ad campaign” to promote the UK premiere of the show.   • Some bad news for Damian fans in North America: According to the Hollywood Reporter article here, ThinkFilm no longer holds North American distribution rights for The Escapist. There’s no mention whether a new distributor has been found, only that “rights to the project have since reverted to the producers.” Click here for yet another positive review of the film.

  • Genesis Publications Ltd has updated subscribers on Easy Co. 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment – In Photographs. In addition to signing all 350 Deluxe editions of the book, Damian “has taken part in a special interview that will be included within the back pages of this book. He provides a unique insight into his role as Richard Winters, his relationship with the Major himself, and the experience of taking part in a second world war reconstruction produced by Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg.” Thanks to Linda in Belgium for the update!   • Ginga Bond is back! BBC Radio 2 is currently repeating the James Bond Short Stories on Friday nights at 21:15. James Bond Short Stories is an 8-part series in which Damian Lewis reads four James Bond stories – The Living Daylights, A View To A Kill, The Property Of A Lady and For Your Eyes Only.   • Wow! Check out the new layout! :-D

    Remember the old layout? It was great, too – but the new one is gorgeous (and blue goes so well with Damian’s coloring!) ;)

  • Ken Tucker of EW.com calls Damian Lewis a “charming redhead” and describes his portrayal of Detective Charlie Crews in Life as “a genial cleverboots with a raw edge.” He goes on to say that he “could easily watch an hour of Charlie working solo.” (Me, too!) :D


  • This article by Brian Donaldson of The List confirms that season 1 of Life will premiere in the UK on October 30th at 9pm on ITV3.


  • UK television alert! Dotty reported that ITV1 is now running advertisements for the UK premiere of Life on ITV3!

  • Damian Lewis fans in The Netherlands should contact the RTL network to request season 2 of Life. The network aired season 1 earlier this year but Suzanne has discovered that season 2 has not yet been scheduled! :(

  • Thanks to Ann for the links for NBC’s TAMI (Total Audience Measurement Index) ratings system. The new system includes viewer data for televised broadcasts, video on demand, online downloads and streaming, and mobile viewing.   • Congratulations to composer Benjamin Wallfisch!

    He has been nominated by the World Soundtrack Academy for the “2008 Discovery of the Year Award” that will be announced on October 18, 2008 at the 35th Ghent International Film Festival in Belgium. The award honors “emerging film composing talent” and Benjamin has been nominated for his acclaimed musical score for The Escapist.
