Julie in Slidell, La.: Is it just me, or is Life better than ever this year? What’s coming down the pike?
It’s not just you. Among other things, Reese’s silent glares/stares at Crews are flat brilliant. Anyway, in an upcoming episode we learn more about Crews’ time in prison through a couple of his friends who are still there, including a behemoth of a man who agrees to look out for a second friend who is being harassed by crack addicts.

In The Deadbolt interview mentioned above, Damian Lewis had this to say about the long-term affects of starring in Band of Brothers:
“Yes, I’m still convincing people I didn’t win the second World War. It can be quite overwhelming. But I mean, yes, what a privilege to have been involved in telling that story. I’ve said before I was slow to realize the enormity of the [scope] and the importance of the project and of the story and the task in hand to represent those guys well and responsibly.
“So having committed to it like that with thirty other guys, we kind of developed our own band of brothers. And those guys are good friends and we got married together and had children together over the last seven, eight years and we all hang out together.

Ellen Gray, TV critic for the Philadelphia Daily News made this comment about a recent episode of Life:
“With more and more shows looking like car commercials … I’m really enjoying NBC’s “Life,” where Charlie Crews (Damian Lewis) last week continued to drive around in the Maserati he and partner Dani Reese (Sarah Shahi) were forced to shoot full of holes in an earlier episode. If that’s product placement, it’s at least amusing product placement.”
Thanks to Sarah for the news that Hong Kong’s Channel 3 (the Pearl network) will begin broadcasting season 1 of Life on Monday, November 24th at 10:35 pm.
Sarah also said that the network is strongly advertising the new show and running many promotional ads.

“I enjoy Crews’ contradictions,” said Lewis, during a scene break underneath the 6th Street bridge in downtown L.A. for an episode that will air Wednesday. “I enjoy the blend of dark and light and the possibilities that are presented to you when you’re able to write a character with a totally blank canvas.”
