Damian and Helen were in attendance for Allie Esiri’s presentation of Women Poets Through the Ages on Sunday evening, April 28, 2019 at Bridge Theatre in London. The poetry curator Allie Esiri and special guest actors, Helena Bonham Carter, Pippa Bennett-Warner and Helen McCrory took the audience on a journey through the history of women’s writing, from Eneheduanna, the world’s first known poet, via Sappho, to the most powerful, illuminating and entertaining women’s writing of today including Maya Angelou and Carol Ann Duffy. Bringing Letters to Life
by Gingersnap | damian-lewis.com | March 7, 2018
Letters Live returned to the iconic Union Chapel in Islington, a London borough, for three consecutive nights, March 7th, 8th and 9th, 2019 and we had a heads up that Damian may be in attendance when someone tweeted this on social media:
It appears tonight’s performers did not include Damian, but it did include the wonderful Helen McCrory! Helen read Silvia Townsend Warner’s thank you letter for the gift of a matchbox, and reports are saying it was one of the highlights of the evening. There are two more nights of Letters Live, so perhaps we will see Damian soon. Stay tuned here for more information.

Earlier this month Damian tweeted the Keith? trailer, a new comedy by playwright Patrick Marmion and inspired by Moliere, which is playing at the Arcola Theatre from February 13 – March 9 in London. It is described as, “A South African gunrunner turned Buddhist monk. A gullible startup millionaire. His radical feminist ex wife. Their aid worker daughter. The young British Muslim she met in Syria. An ethical Serbian hitman. And an unstable Brazilian cleaner.”
Today, this picture surfaced on social media of Damian with Patrick Marmion, showing Keith? adverts in the background. From the look of Damian’s outfit, it appears he may have attended the play last night right after the Christopher Kane catwalk show for London Fashion week.

It’s a family affair as Damian, Helen and daughter Manon attend the Erdem show for London Fashion Week on Monday, February 18, 2019 at the National Portrait Gallery in London England. The family is pictured here with British-American journalist and editor who has been editor-in-chief of Vogue since 1988 and artistic director for Condé Nast, Vogue’s publisher, since 2013, Anna Wintour.
Damian and Helen also sat front row at the Roksanda fashion show at the Old Selfridges Hotel that same day. They enjoyed a first look at the new Autumn/Winter 2019 collection.
In addition, the couple attended the Christopher Kane catwalk show at 90 High Holborn during this year’s London Fashion Week.
