BBC Studios has announced the titles coming to BritBox in July 2025, which include a range of new BritBox originals and classic British fare-quintessentially crime dramas, sharp-tongued comedies, and real-life stories you won’t find anywhere else. July’s line-up is the service’s most ambitious of the year where you’ll find the biggest highlights.
BritBox is a digital video subscription service offering the largest collection of British TV in the U.S. and Canada.
A Spy Among Friends previously available on MGM+ platform will now make its streaming debut on BritBox on July 30, 2025.
Based on the true story of Nicholas Elliott (Damian Lewis) and Kim Philby (Guy Pearce), two British spies and lifelong friends. Philby’s betrayal and defection to Russia after being exposed as a Soviet double agent resulted in the gutting of British and American Intelligence.
