– Royal Society of Portrait Painters –
Damian’s portrait by artist Benjamin Sullivan NEAC RP is currently on display at Mall Galleries in London as part of the annual Royal Society of Portrait Painters Exhibit.
The exhibition runs from May 7 – May 19, 2026 with an admission cost of £7 and free to under 25s. No booking required.
Damian’s portrait was painted using oil on panel medium with dimensions of 14x9cm (40x24cm framed). Sullivan’s other portrait works include Matthew Macfadyen and Benedict Cumberbatch.

The portrait is part of Sullivan’s previous work titled “Three Actors” that includes the acting trio Damian Lewis, Matthew Macfadyen and Benedict Cumberbatch, and was originally commissioned by the Garrick Club. We featured that story here.
Promoting artistic excellence in portraiture, this annual exhibition is the leading portrait painting showcase in the country. Alongside members of the Society, emerging and established artists – both national and international – present a great breadth of approaches to portraiture.
Expect intimate moments from daily life, as well as high-profile commissions of public figures.
