Damian had a chat with radio presenter Paul Marsh on the Marshycast podcast about his new album Sweet Chaos, writing songs instead of scripts, working with Guy Chambers, his UK tour, and why performing live is unlike anything else.
They played a fun word association game featuring some of the biggest names Damian has worked with, plus discussed how England stops Manchester City striker and Norway national team player Erling Haaland.
As a devout Liverpool fan, Damian still gave kudos where kudos were due. Damian said there’s something prehistoric about the way Haaland runs and moves, likening him to a fantasy realm beast like a Death Eater from the Harry Potter universe.
Damian went on to share that Haaland is a really good player who would be difficult to stop because he’s happy to play for 88 minutes without touching the ball, and then suddenly score two goals.
England is set to play Norway in the FIFA World Cup on Saturday, July 11, 2026.
