  • Some US members have received notice from Amazon.fr that their region 2 Chromophobia DVD has shipped and will arrive January 11th – 18th. This DVD will play in region-free (multi-region) DVD players or region 2 players – UK, EU, MidEast including Egypt, So. Africa, and Japan – and offers both an original English version (with French subtitles) and a dubbed French version.

  • Connie and Crystal shared the news that Amazon and Target are both offering the Region 1 (US and Canada) boxed DVD set of Band of Brothers for $53 US.

  • Here’s a bit more information about the PBS 35th anniversary special – The Best of Masterpiece Theatre – featuring Damian Lewis. The program will run during a Pledge Drive so it will probably be broadcast on many PBS stations on March 4th but it is likely that there will be Pledge Break interruptions. (Oh well, that’s how they make revenue to broadcast excellent programs like The Forsyte Saga!)
