Damian and his children, daughter Manon (who wore her mother’s dress) and son Gulliver (who wore his father’s famous mustard coat), attended the Warner Bros. Pictures World Premiere of Wonka at The Royal Festival Hall on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 in London, England. They walked the red carpet as part of the VIP arrivals to see Damian’s former Homeland co-star Timothée Chalamet, who plays Wonka in the musical fantasy film. See more photos of their red carpet arrivals in our Gallery here. The film follows a young Willy Wonka, presenting a prequel story to the Roald Dahl classic Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. It explores how the world’s greatest inventor, magician, and chocolate maker became the beloved Willy Wonka we know today.
Other stars in attendance were Calah Lane, Keegan-Michael Key, Paterson Joseph, Matt Lucas, Mathew Baynton, Sally Hawkins, Rowan Atkinson, Jim Carter, Olivia Colman and Hugh Grant. For those who may not remember, Matt Lucas joined the FeedNHS initiative alongside Damian and Helen McCrory, a charity they started during the CoVid-19 pandemic. Matt released his Baked Potato Song to raise funds for the campaign. Everything’s connected!

The HBAs of Cumberbatch Island
by Michael Baumann | The Ringer | March 24, 2022
This weekend marks the return of ‘Bridgerton,’ a series that celebrates society journalism—and lusting after Brits. To celebrate, here’s an exploration of the different types of attractive male British actors—from the prototypes to the ones currently ruling the screen and a select group of men who currently dominate Hollywood: Hot British Actors™ (HBAs).
The HBA is hardly a new phenomenon; it’s been part of the American cultural furniture since your grandparents were down bad (or whatever the postwar equivalent is) for Sean Connery and Richard Burton. But now these actors are everywhere—wielding affected American accents like a plumber wields a wrench. They’re hiding in plain sight, not just in our romantic dramas and superhero movies, but our network sitcoms and prime-time soaps as well. Paul Revere is rummaging through his saddlebags right now, trying to figure out how many lanterns to light for “by screen.”

Top 10 Performers in the Realm of Television
by Ganesh Raheja | Republic World | December 22, 2020
The year 2020 also bore witness to some exemplary pieces of character work in the realm of mainstream television as well. Hugh Grant in The Undoing gave a spine-chilling performance as the human embodiment of a menacing soul in a gentleman’s attire. Damian Lewis in Billions set new benchmarks as the shrewd, conniving yet likeable Bobby “Axe” Axelrod in the hit Showtime series.
Mark Ruffalo in I Know This Much Is True showed that he can step out of the shadow of his MCU character, The Hulk, at any given point in time and play a character that is Bruce Banner in every possible way. The article that can be found below enlists such performances who have been a part of the best TV Shows of 2020.

Charles Finch and Chanel Pre-BAFTA Dinner Party
by Gingersnap | damian-lewis.com | February 17, 2018
Looks like the pre-BAFTA parties continue as we see Damian and Helen arriving at the annual Charles Finch and Chanel pre-BAFTAs dinner party at the Mark’s Club in Mayfair, London on Saturday evening, February 17, 2018. The usual mariachi band greeted Finch’s guests at the dinner, as it has for the last 19 years. Held the night before the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Awards, Finch’s annual dinners have become the stuff of after-dark legend, as the event calls on the industry’s talent to celebrate British film before the awards ceremony tomorrow night. Other stars who flocked to Mayfair venue included Rolling Stones frontman Sir Mick Jagger, and actors Hugh Grant, Kristin Scott Thomas and Margot Robbie.
View video below of Damian arriving at the pre-BAFTA awards dinner party, also featuring Gillian Anderson and Greta Gerwig.
